Though trusted by Singapore’s silver generation, local jeweller and heritage brand Poh Heng wanted to connect with the emerging generation of young adults. For its 70th anniversary, instead of a celebration for the gran, we threw a celebration for the gram — by turning Poh Heng’s rich history into an Instagram-worthy pop-up exhibition.
At its Orchard flagship store, we built 7 monochrome rooms, one for every decade. Filled with artefacts from their era, visitors could walk back in time from the New Noughties to the Electric Eighties and the Fabulous Fifties. They also learnt about Poh Heng’s journey through fun interactive displays as well as old ads, jewellery replicas and newspaper clippings.
