This Pet Food Brand Identity Project Calls For A Tail-ored Recipe

With their unapologetically bold pet-sonality, GIMMO is a new pet food brand offering a range of kibbles for cats and dogs, bound to set tails wagging in joy. Tasked to create a brand identity for them, we knew exactly where we had to look to bring the brand to life.

The Tails

Like a wagging sign of endorsement for the brand, GIMMO’s brand identity is centred around pet tails emerging out of the rear-end of the logo.

Modelled after real pets, including some of the client team’s actual pets, the 3D-rendered tail is a lively design element that can take on myriad patterns, furs, and colourways – like the very cats and dogs we seek to feed – adding a pop of furry fun to the brand identity.


Appropriately, the packaging also reflected the respective pet tails – dog tails for dog kibbles, cat tails for cat kibbles, so owners can easily identify what’s for their fur babies from the shelves.

Secondary Applications

We also ensured various touchpoints were considered, from delivery boxes to digital stickers for social platforms. We spared no de-tails when it came to designing the suite of applications too, for a little added surprise whenever pet parents pick up a pack of GIMMO.
